Why Remove Tile Flooring affected by Water in Daly City, California

SERVPRO of South San Francisco City/ San Bruno always wants to attempt to save and dry everything that has been affected by a water loss! However, we also want to make sure the actual structure of the home or the bones of the home are dried properly to prevent dry-rot or secondary damages from occurring.  

This photo shows a kitchen with tile flooring that was completely affected by water from a broken supply line.  Under that tile floor was a drenched wooden sub floor.   In order to properly dry that wooden sub floor the tile had to be removed.
