What's an Air Scrubber?!?

SERVPRO of South San Francisco City/ San Bruno uses Air Scrubbers on many projects in the Bay Area.  Air Scrubbers are designed for the Restoration Industry and assists on many different types of projects.

The Air Scrubber is a portable filtration unit that removes particles, gases, chemicals, odors and even contaminates from the air.  The air is drawn in from the environment and passes through a series of filters to remove the particulates from the air and than clean air is returned back to the environment. 

Air Scrubbers are most commonly used during water, fire, mold and demolition projects to control the air quality.  The Air Scrubbers can capture airborne particles and removes hazardous particles from the air.  They are also used to absorb a wide range of odors and gases.  They even trap mold spores, dust and soot particulates. 

The Air Scrubbers can also be used to create controlled negative air pressure in contained areas.  

In the restoration industry Air Scrubbers are considered special equipment and should be used accordingly!
